The U.S. Federal Census is one of the most important records in genealogical research. This presentation will explore the history and evolution of the U.S. Census Bureau, including advancements that changed the world. Understanding the reasons behind the census questions will give new insights into evaluating the records.
Linda has presented for various groups including the Institute for Learning in Retirement at Baldwin-Wallace University. She is currently President of the Genealogical Committee at the Western Reserve Historical Society.
