“Cleveland’s Jewish Voices from Nineteenth Century till Present ” by Sean Martin, Associate Curator of Jewish History, Western Reserve Historical Society.  The talk will focus on the history of  the Jewish community in Cleveland from it’s beginning in 1839 to the present day.  Materials in the Cleveland Jewish Archives of the Western Reserve Historical Society will be used to highlight developments in the community’s history and it’s participation in the civic life of the region.  Both the community’s challenges and successes will be discussed.
